Ralph was awesome in walking me through the mind-body process and encouraging me to love myself and give up on the perfectionist traits I had identified with for so long. I’m able to live life again while releasing false beliefs. I’m grateful … More to have worked with him and highly recommend him in overcoming chronic pain and getting your life back!

I write this review in the hope that someone might find some encouragement from my story, as I did hearing from other former clients of Ralph Ruiz.
I contacted Ralph a couple of years ago, after coming across his video series called “AS
… More I lived it” on YouTube (AS= Ankylosing Spondylitis) . These videos were real eye openers to me, and everything made so much sense, linking AS to deep stress and PTSD. My AS started 20 years ago, after an emotionally very difficult time in my life. Through all of these years I have hardly ever slept more than 4-5 hours without having to get up and move due to pain. I have been diagnosed with AS from the two best hospitals in Oslo, Norway, which both are known to have the best expertise in the field.
Ralph, instead of encouraging me to pay for private sessions with him, or to join his online community, got me to read a lot of relevant mind-body literature, and find a local therapist with a mind-body-aware approach. With his humble and generous attitude he got my trust immediately, and I followed his advice. In addition, I then chose to join his website for more video content, and I also asked him for a few one-on-one sessions, which where all great.
While I was enjoying everything I learned in this process, the pain only got worse for a long time, even though I was working with a great therapist and following Ralphs advice. Looking back it makes sense, as I was exposing the very issues that I associated with AS to begin with.
In June last year it got so bad that I was waking my 8 year old twin boys at night screaming with shocks of pain. I could not even get out of bed with the help of my wife to go to the toilet some nights. I had previously tried biologics twice with relief in symptoms, but the effect wore out both times. I contacted the Hospital again, and they put me on biologics (Humira). My symptoms where greatly reduced, but after only 6 weeks on Humira, I had to stop due to a strong flu which lasted for weeks. This time however, the pain didn’t return, and I didn’t start the Humira again.
Now I have been completely free of symtpoms, and not taken medicine for 6 months. I have taken a very mild dose of sarotex and melatonin to help me get my sleeping pattern back, but no painkillers or NSAID, as my pain has gone away completely! I cannot describe the relief!
My goal when I started biologics was to get some relief from the pain so that I could work more focused on the mental issues I associated with AS. I still go to a local therapist. My advice to others with AS now would be to not shy away from medicine if you need it, but at the same time not use medicine as crutches. The mind/body connection is extremely powerful, and your AS just may turn out to be a very positive source for you to get to know yourself better. I have previously gotten rid of a year long tinnitus with a similar approach, by deeply listening to what it was telling me rather than repressing it.
My inner climate both mentally and physically is so different now from before I met Ralph, and I believe that I will not get AS again. I needed medicine but, even if I cannot prove it, I am convinced that it was because I never gave up on healing the root cause that I got rid of my AS. And the root cause for me was emotional trauma prior to the onset of AS.
I believe everyone who heals using the mind-body connection will have their own very personal path to look back upon. There is no definite recipe. Yet there will perhaps be common traits in their approaches, and I can think of no better person to guide you through some of these options than Ralph Ruiz, whom I will be forever grateful for helping me let go of AS. I give him my warmest recommendation.

10 years ago I was diagnosed with Ankylosing Spondylitis. From then onwards there were days were I would struggle to walk, bend down to pick up things and even roll over in bed. Medication at that time was one of the only things that gave … More me relief. Until I came across Ralph. Since then I have been pain free from and clear of mind. On top of this I have been off all medications for my physical and mental health (not saying they don't have a place at some point). My family and friends have made comments stating that I am back to my true self. I am no longer on any specific diet, doing meditations or exercising out of guilt or 'need'. If you have Ankylosing Spondylitis or other forms of chronic pain/auto-immune disorders, I would highly recommend you give Ralph a shot!

Thank you Ralph Ruiz i am free of pain because of your teachings. My self became my best friend in life and becoming better and better every day. You helped me inject in my personality a part that is, a healer, a motivator, a positive person … More and a person that puts value to his life and to life of others. Thank you.

First heard of Ralph a while back and didn't think much of him. But I gave his methods a go, and boy am I glad I did. From my experiences, I would recommend Ralphitness for anyone interested in receiving life coaching, wanting a better … More perspective on life and self and/or wanting to overcome or lessen chronic pain or other symptoms of chronic illness.
I have personally achieved great results so far such as a greater outlook on life, a better relationship with myself, and relief from negative symptoms associated with AS, and no longer needing to take medications that were once required of me.
I'm confident that I'll achieve more, but even if I didn't, I'm happy as I've already got more than I initially thought possible.
